In the coming weeks, Senator Gary Dahms (R-Redwood Falls) will join the area state representatives in holding a series of joint town hall meetings across Senate District 16. The meetings will be open to the public and area residents are encouraged to attend.
Senator Dahms will be joined by Rep. Paul Torkelson (R-Hanska) on Friday, January 26 in:
- Sleepy Eye, 7:15 – 8:15 a.m. at the Brown County REA Building (24386 State Highway 4)
- New Ulm, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the public library, (17 N. Broadway St.)
- Springfield, 11:00 a.m. – Noon at the Community Building (33 S. Cass Ave.)
- Morgan, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Lions Community Building (115 Vernon Ave.)
- Redwood Falls, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at City Hall (333 S. Washington St.)
Senator Dahms will be joined by Rep. Chris Swedzinski (R-Ghent) on Monday, January 29 in:
- Marshall, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at the MERIT Center (1001 W. Erie Rd.)
- Canby, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the City Administrative Office Building, (110 Oscar Ave. N.)
- Madison, 11:30 a.m. – Noon at the City Hall Auditorium (404 6th Ave.)
- Dawson, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the City Building (675 Chestnut St.)
- Granite Falls, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers (641 Prentice St.)
Senator Gary Dahms is in his third term serving District 16, which includes communities in Brown, Lac qui Parle, Lyon, Redwood, Renville, and Yellow Medicine counties. Senator Dahms serves as an assistant majority leader and is the chair of the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee.
