Minnesota Senate Republicans unveiled an outline of their 2018 Advancing Minnesota agenda on Monday. The series of priorities places an emphasis on protecting Minnesotans’ wages and caring for people by holding government accountable for the ongoing DMV mess, improving school safety, and investing in state infrastructure.
Senator Paul Utke (R-Park Rapids) released the following statement:
“Senate Republicans are back in St. Paul and ready to continue serving the families, students and small businesses of Minnesota. After a productive 2017session, we’ve had several months to get feedback from the residents of our districts. From what you’ve told us we’ve made progress, but that there is still more that we can do. Your feedback has shaped our 2018 agenda- protecting Minnesotan’s wages, protecting loved ones at school and in senior care facilities, and cleaning up disasters like MNLARS. This is an agenda that aims to protect Minnesota families their budgets and their values.”
