Sen. Torrey Westrom to Hold Town Halls Friday and Saturday 3/23 & 3/24– All Public Welcome
Senator Torrey Westrom will hold a series of town hall listening sessions throughout Senate District 12 on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24. Senator Westrom will be joined on Friday by State Representative Jeff Backer [R-Browns Valley], and on Saturday by State Representative Paul Anderson [R-Starbuck]. The legislators will discuss state policies and field questions from residents regarding the current legislative session.
“The 2018 legislative session is off to a fast start, yet there is much to accomplish,” said Sen. Westrom. “These town hall meetings allow for area residents to discuss their ideas and concerns in-person, ultimately shaping legislation. I strongly encourage folks to attend and share their priorities for this legislative session.”
The town halls are open to the public and free of charge. Expected topics to be discussed are school safety, taxes, local infrastructure projects, and other items. The scheduled is as follows:
