I have heard from a lot of farmers and land owners worried about the possible consequences of the Department of Agriculture’s proposed nitrogen rule.
This Wednesday, July 25, you will have an opportunity to let them know your concerns.
MDA will be holding an official public hearing in St. Cloud about the proposed rule. The hearing will be overseen by an Administrative Law Judge.
Please Note: The Administrative Law Judge will conclude the hearings after everyone present has had the opportunity to provide comments. Therefore, the hearings may end sooner than the ending time listed below.
If you can’t make the meeting, you can still submit your thoughts and ideas in writing.
The public comment period closes August 15.
