State Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault), vice chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, issued the following statement after a Legislative Auditor’s report found tens of thousands of Minnesotans were overcharged for vehicle registrations thanks to MNLARS.

“Another day, another MNLARS failure. For more than a year it has been causing headaches for citizens, deputy registrars, auto dealers, and virtually everyone unlucky enough to interact with it. You have to ask yourself: if government can’t even correctly assign a value to your car, do you really want it in control of your health care?”
