Sen. Mike Goggin (R-Red Wing) on Governor Tim Walz’s decision to appeal the Enbridge Line 3 Replacement Program:

“The governor’s decision was disappointing and frustrating. Gov. Walz talks a lot about ‘One Minnesota,’ but in his first test of that vision he chose to side with a small band of extremists over the jobs, the economic development, and the environmental safety that the Line 3 project would bring. It was the wrong decision for Minnesota.”
