The Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM) has announced that State Senator Jeremy Miller has been named the organization’s 2019 Elected Official of the Year for his diligent work and advocacy on behalf of economic development tools, resources, and initiatives that have had a positive impact on Minnesota.
“Ultimately, one of our priorities as legislators is to encourage families and small business owners to live and invest in Minnesota,” said Sen. Miller. “During my tenure as the chairman of the Senate Jobs & Economic Growth Committee, I was proud of our bipartisan focus on innovative public-private initiatives that foster job growth, economic development, and workforce training opportunities throughout the state. Thank you to EDAM for this great honor and for their commitment to a strong Minnesota economy.”
“These awards highlight what is great about Minnesota – innovative people, organizations and projects that continue to make this an exceptional place to live, work and play,” said Matt Brown, 2019 EDAM President.
