Senator Scott Newman (R-Hutchinson) invites residents of McLeod County to attend a property tax town hall meeting on Friday, March 22. Residents are invited to discuss individual property taxes, property classifications, and the influence of state government on property taxes. All county residents are invited to attend.
The meeting will be held on Friday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Glencoe-Silver Lake High School (1825 East 16th Street, Glencoe, MN 55336). The meeting will be held in the fine arts auditorium. Area legislators, including Senator Scott Newman and Representative Glenn Gruenhagen, will be in attendance, as well as McLeod County Commissioner Ron Shimanski and other county officials.
