“I look forward to meeting with newly appointed MNIT Commissioner, Tarek Tomes, within the week to discuss the support he needs to reform this beleaguered agency with a serious history of numerous failures. It is a daunting task he has in front of him. We know the status quo cannot continue and I hope Mr. Tomes will welcome the Senate reform proposals as a part of the conversation going forward.
