State Senator Jeremy Miller (R-Winona) will be hosting a town hall forum in Winona next Saturday, April 27. The event is for residents of Senate District 28, which includes Fillmore, Houston, and Winona Counties, and will be free and open to the public.
Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss issues being debated by the legislature, including the budget, child care access and affordability, and driver’s licenses for undocumented/illegal immigrants.
“There is about one month left of the 2019 legislative session, and negotiations are starting to move beyond the framework stage and into specifics,” said Sen. Miller. “It is not too late to get involved and let me know your concerns and your feedback. I am looking forward to a great turnout and lively discussion.”
