Senate Republicans unveiled their 2020 legislative agenda at a press conference this week. Priorities include affordable health care, efficient transportation infrastructure, eliminating the school achievement gap, and continued tax relief.
“We put your priorities first year after year,” said Senator Andrew Mathews (R-Princeton). “Our economy is thriving, taxes are lower, and communities are growing. I look forward to advocating for our district at the Capitol again this year so you can continue to expect improved accountability and efficiency from your government.”
The full Vision 2020 proposal includes plans to address the childcare shortage, clean water initiatives, workforce development for a growing economy, and support for farmers and veterans. The 2020 session begins on February 11th.
