State Senator Roger Chamberlain (R-Lino Lakes) today issued the following statement:
“Enough is enough. At the beginning of this whole thing we understood the restrictions Gov. Walz put in place — especially with the limited information available at the time. It’s time to be done. Florida is fine. Georgia is fine. All of our neighboring states are open, flourishing, and not having problems.
“It’s time for Gov. Walz to throw out all the dials, knobs, levers, and switches, stop micromanaging people’s lives, and put his focus where it needs to be: long-term care. He has completely and utterly failed at protecting those facilities, and he will carry that shame with him long after he is out of office if he doesn’t get it turned around soon.”
