Last night, a video was released documenting the social media posts of a campaign worker engaging in ballot harvesting, and recording the claims that elderly voters are pressured to request and turn over their absentee ballots to campaign workers before they fill them out. 

Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) released the following statement in response to the video:

“The video is alarming. We have heard stories about ballot harvesting, but this appears to be pretty clear and irrefutable evidence. The only question that remains is at what scale is it taking place. As a member of the Senate’s State Government and Elections Committee, I am committed to getting to the bottom of this so our elections are conducted fairly and without fraud. Secretary of State Steve Simon, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Hennepin County officials all need to begin investigations right away.”
