Senator Mark Koran (R-North Branch) released the following statement in response to Governor Tim Walz loosening of his restrictions on businesses implemented on November 21:  

“The safety, health, and wellbeing of all Minnesotans remain the highest priority in the Senate. While I’m glad Governor Walz listened and loosened the restrictions on businesses Minnesota still must go further. There is no denying that this epidemic has impacted all Minnesotans. From the public health issues to the financial pain to the unending economic shutdown, no corner of this state has been left untouched. Governor Walz’s one-sized fits all lockdowns have only amplified the challenges Minnesotans have faced. Now, with the legislature back in session, Governor Walz must work with us to get schools and businesses open and our state’s economy back on track.”
