Minnesota Senator Roger Chamberlain (R-Lino Lakes) today issued the following statement in regards to Gov. Walz’s announcement of a vaccine pilot program:
“Minnesota’s rollout of the Covid vaccine has been unacceptably slow so far. The news last week that Gov. Walz decided to open up the vaccine to anyone over 65 was great news, but this pilot program idea is misguided,” said Sen. Chamberlain. “Time is of the essence here. Existing clinics and pharmacies are being underutilized. Instead of creating an inefficient new system, we should be relying on the infrastructure we already have in place.”
