(ST. PAUL, MN) – Senator Bruce Anderson (R-Buffalo) released the following statement on the tragedy in Buffalo today:

“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this tragedy. Buffalo Police Officers and Wright County Sheriff Deputies are among the finest in the state and have my full support as they do their work. I know the community will come together to support one another in this difficult time.”

Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka also released the following statement today:

“Our prayers are for the victims, their families, the city of Buffalo, and all who are suffering from today’s tragic events. I also thank the brave law enforcement and medical staff who provided an immediate response to take the suspect into custody and save lives. We cannot put into words the gratitude we have for those who step up and run into harm’s way.”
