Senator Gene Dornink (R-Hayfield) issued the following statement regarding the Governor’s capacity limits placed on local sporting events:

“After hearing from many constituents disappointed that they cannot cheer on the Hayfield Vikings due to capacity limits, I am asking Governor Walz to please reconsider. After losing out on a full year of activities, our community just wants to come together in support of our kids to cheer them on to victory. It has been quite a while since Hayfield went to state, and this exciting time deserves celebration. The safety precautions are there in order for us to come together safely for this special occasion,” Dornink said.
