Senate Republicans today added an amendment to the State Government Finance bill to immediately end Gov. Walz’s emergency powers related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Senator Julie Rosen (R-Fairmont) issued the following statement:

“The emergency is long over. States everywhere are ending their emergency powers and Minnesota needs to do the same. There is no reason — I repeat, no reason — for Gov. Walz to continue clinging to emergency powers.”
