Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) today issued the following statement on the passing of Rice County Sheriff’s Sergeant Justin Timothy Hunt:

“I am incredibly saddened by Sergeant Hunt’s passing. He and his wife, Maggie, are long-time family friends. I have known them both for years, and worked with them closely during my time as mayor of Faribault and on the city council. Justin was a good man who cared deeply about his community. I am keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers today.”
