Statement from Senator Andrew Mathews (R-Princeton) on the United States Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs case:

“I’ve been saying for years that I would see the end of Roe vs. Wade in my lifetime, and that day has finally come. The Supreme Court justices had the courage to stand up for what’s right, even after the leak. 

“While there are still hurdles here in Minnesota, this pro-life decision has removed the largest hurdle. And now, we have work to do to love the mothers and the babies, and to make abortion unthinkable in Minnesota. I stand committed to protecting all life and speaking out for those who have no voice.”
