“I am deeply sorry for another tragic loss of a police officer. The officer’s family, along with the Minneapolis Police Department, are in my prayers as they mourn. I am praying for the full recovery of another officer who was injured. Our peace officers are everyday heroes who courageously step up to keep us safe. These officers ran towards the danger, and I commend them for their service and sacrifice.
