On Wednesday, April 10, two groups of Discovery Academy sixth-grade students from Alexandria, Minnesota, visited the State Capitol in St. Paul, where they toured the building and learned about its history, art, and architecture. The group also met with State Senator Torrey Westrom (R–Alexandria) and Representative Mary Franson (R-Alexandria), who shared insights into the work of state elected officials.
