Chamberlain, Runbeck to host February listening sessions in Hugo and Circle Pines

State Senator Roger Chamberlain (R-Lino Lakes) and State Representative Linda Runbeck (R-Circle Pines) will be co-hosting two listening sessions in February for residents of House District 38A, which includes Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Hugo, Lexington, and Lino Lakes. The events will be held on February 9 in Hugo and on February 14 in Circle Pines, and will be free and open to the public.

Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss issues that could be addressed during the upcoming legislative session, including the state budget, tax relief health insurance costs, child care affordability, and more.

“We have a lot on our plate this year, and these events are a great opportunity for people to have their voices heard before decisions are made,” said Sen. Chamberlain. “I am looking forward to another great turnout and lively discussion.”

“This is an outstanding opportunity for Senator Chamberlain and me to hear from local citizens about issues that are important to them that could be addressed in the 2019 session,” said Rep. Runbeck. “I encourage individuals to attend and participate in what is certain to be a great discussion.”
