Friends,

The Senate is on Easter/Passover break this week, so there will be no legislative update. Regular updates will return next week.

This weekend I’ll be celebrating Easter with my family; perhaps you will as well, or perhaps you celebrate Passover. Regardless of whether or not you celebrate one of these important holidays, I hope we can all take a moment to reflect on the blessings we have been given. We are all free to worship however we choose, we have access to clean water, and we can live in relative safety. I give thanks to Jesus Christ for making it all possible, but regardless of your faith, we must never lose sight of how fortunate we are.

The legislature will reconvene on Tuesday, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
