Childcare providers win freedom from unionization!
Statement of Senate Republican Leader David Hann on the childcare unionization election results:
“Today Minnesota childcare providers voted against forming a union, strongly rejecting Gov. Mark Dayton’s attempt to force unionization on their small businesses. The vote failed by a two to one margin, even though the Dayton administration did not follow the law and disenfranchised hundreds of eligible voters. This vote should be the final word on Dayton’s shameful effort to pay back the AFSCME union for their early support of his campaign for governor. Senate Republicans will now push to have the law repealed in the face of such strong opposition from providers and parents.”
