Minnesota Senate Republicans announced that Senator Julia Coleman (R-Chanhassen) will become the Vice-Chair of the Senate Tax Committee during the 2022 legislative session. Senator Coleman served as a regular member of the committee during the 2021 session. 

“I appreciate the honor to be named Vice-Chair of the Senate Tax Committee,” Coleman said. “Minnesotans are overtaxed and deserve to keep more of their hard-earned money. I look forward to working with Chair Nelson and other committee members to reduce hard-working Minnesotans’ taxes.” 

Senator Carla Nelson (R-Rochester) is the Chairwoman of the Senate Tax Committee. Senator Coleman replaces Senator Jeremy Miller (R-Winona), who was recently selected as Senate Majority Leader, as the Vice-Chair of the committee.
