State Senator Gary Dahms (R – Redwood Falls) and State Representative Chris Swedzinski (R – Ghent) invite area residents to attend an informational meeting regarding the possible transfer of lands from the Upper Sioux Agency State Park to the Upper Sioux Community. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Minnesota West Community and Technical College Granite Falls Campus (1593 ‒ 11th Avenue). Folks should use the door to the AG Bush Student Center on 11th Avenue.
“The purpose of this community meeting is to give the public an opportunity to ask questions about this possible land transfer,” said Senator Dahms.
Representative Swedzinski added, “We look forward to providing information from the various parties involved.”
The form of the meeting will comprise a panel of speakers who will be available to answer questions. Senator Dahms and Representative Swedzinski will host and moderate the discussion. The following attendees have confirmed their attendance on the panel:
