Senator Rich Draheim, Vice Chairman of the Senate Higher Education Committee, released the following statement about University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler’s decision to resign July 1, 2019.

“I want to thank President Kaler for his service and his leadership. I always appreciated his willingness to share his vision for the university with the Senate Higher Education Committee. I wish him well, and look forward to working with the new president to make college more affordable for more students.”
