A note from Senator Dan Hall
Thank you for the honor of representing our communities in the Minnesota Senate! I’m pleased to report good news from the state Capitol, with the 2019 legislative session bringing results to our region. We passed a responsible, bipartisan state budget that includes critical funding for the programs and services on which Minnesotans rely- and we did it by working together, across party lines.
In addition to the first middle income tax cut in nearly two decades, we passed the largest investment in public education in state history, landmark elder care protections, measures to lower the costs of prescription drugs, and much more. Working together, we can make sure our communities remain great places to live, work, and raise our families.
