Friends and Neighbors,
I want to wish you a Happy Easter and Happy Passover.
With all the recent changes, it doesn’t quite feel like this celebratory season is already upon us, but what better time could there be for us to be reminded that there is hope for renewal.
COVID-19 may be interrupting our traditions, but it can’t diminish the significance of this time. If you are fortunate enough to be with your families to celebrate or if you will be using FaceTime to connect, we have a lot to be thankful for during all of the uncertainty.
We may need to change methods this year. While churches and communities are not able to engage in the usual activities in person, I see innovation and creativity springing up all over.
Everyone has been impacted differently over the last several weeks, so regardless of your faith, it is my hope that this spring season will bring a renewed faith and optimism as we focus on getting through all of this together.
Kindness, patience, and understanding for one another will be the guide.
My thoughts and prayers remain with all of you. As always, you can reach me by phone at (651) 296-5655 or by email at sen.mary.kiffmeyer@senate.mn.
Blessings,
Mary
