Hefty Increases On The Way For 2015 MNsure Premiums
MNsure premiums for 2015 health insurance policies were made public today. Republican Leader David Hann released the following statement in response to hefty increases in the cost of health insurance in Minnesota:
“The Dayton administration’s rhetoric on MNsure premium increases is bogus and deceptive – today we learned that regardless of age or plan level, health insurance costs are going up between 18-37%. We were promised a 30% decrease in premiums and $500 in annual savings per family, and the opposite happened. After forcing this disastrous, one-size fits all healthcare program on Minnesota, Gov. Mark Dayton has shown absolutely no leadership to fix the problems it’s created.”
