Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen (R-Alexandria), and Representative Mary Franson (R-Alexandria) will hold two town hall meetings using Zoom next week about the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each town hall will last about 40 minutes and feature an update on the situation and a time for questions.
“I look forward to connecting with constituents to hear their thoughts about how our state is responding to this crisis,” said Franson. “Maintaining communication with the people we represent is of the utmost importance in these uncertain times, and I want to hear directly from our community about how they are being affected.”
“As always, we are facing a wide variety of challenges in the Legislature, and input from the residents of District 8 is helpful as we prepare to make some difficult decisions during session and this COVID-19 crisis,” said Senator Ingebrigtsen. “There are plenty of issues we can discuss, from the governor’s executive orders, to the precautions the legislature is taking to protect Minnesotans, to how Minnesota plans on recovering economically after. This is a great opportunity for people in our area to let us know where they stand on those issues and others, so we can continue doing our best to represent them.”
