Earlier today, Senate Democrats killed an $825 million infrastructure bill that would have fully funded highway 14, as well as provided resources for sewer and water infrastructure, critical road and bridge upgrades, asset preservation, and more throughout Minnesota.

Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) released the following statement.

“Frustrating. There’s not much else to say. We had a great, robust bill that focused on core infrastructure – including and especially Highway 14. That Democrats chose to play politics with peoples’ lives is incredibly upsetting, but we’ll keep working to get it done.”
