State Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) has been recognized as an emerging leader by a nationally-renowned Republican leadership organization, GOPAC. Senator Jasinski was one of twenty seven legislators from around the country, and the only one from Minnesota, to receive the honor.
“Being named an ‘Emerging Leader’ by such a respected organization is a tremendous honor,” said Senator Jasinski. “During my first year in office I worked on priorities like reducing taxes for Minnesota families, lowering skyrocketing health care premiums, rebuilding roads and bridges across the state, and spurring economic development using tools like the Business Development Public Infrastructure program. I am proud of what we accomplished, and proud to represent the citizens of Dodge, Rice, Steele, and Waseca Counties.”
“Our 2018 Emerging Leaders highlight our efforts to promote Republicans who advocate for the personal and economic security of Americans. These men and women are a superb addition to the roster of Republicans we are developing nationwide to lead in their state legislatures and/or run for higher office.” said GOPAC Chairman David Avella.
As part of the recognition, Senator Jasinski will be invited to the Emerging Leaders Summit in June, where he will have an opportunity to learn from policy experts and veteran legislators and develop new, creative tools to be an effective legislator. Senator Jasinski is serving his first term in the Minnesota Senate, where is also serves as the vice chair of the Transportation Committee.
