Minnesota Senate Republicans today formally unveiled their 2018 Advancing Minnesota agenda. The series of priorities places an emphasis on protecting Minnesotans’ wages and caring for people by holding government accountable for the ongoing DMV mess, fighting the opioid epidemic, funding mental health, and investing in infrastructure.
Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) released the following statement:
“Senate Republicans have a simple agenda – we work on issues that help Minnesotans and their families. Last session, we delivered emergency health care premium relief, a major tax relief package, and long-term funding for roads and bridges. This year, it will be protecting your wages from outdated state taxes, cleaning up the MNLARS mess at our DMVs, making sure children are safe at schools, delivering funding for mental health, and ending the opioid addiction crisis.”
