Senator Mark Koran (R-North Branch) once again took the oath of office as a Minnesota State Senator on Tuesday when the Senate convened for the 2023-2024 legislative session. Sen. Koran is serving his 3rd term. He represents Senate District 28, which includes communities in Chisago and Isanti Counties.
“It is a tremendous honor to have residents of Chisago and Isanti Counties once again place their faith in me to serve them in the Minnesota Senate,” Koran said. “Every time I take the oath of office, I am humbled by the responsibility I have been given.”
“As always, my priorities come from the feedback I get from my constituents,” Koran added. “And my constituents are telling me they want us to return the state’s massive budget surplus to Minnesota taxpayers in the form of permanent, real tax relief. They are telling me they want us to support law enforcement and keep our communities safe. And they are telling me they want an education system that works for our students. I am eager and ready to get to work.”
Sen. Koran encourages constituents to ask questions, provide feedback, and offer ideas. He can be reached at his capitol office at 2203 Minnesota Senate Building, 95 University Ave, St. Paul; by email at sen.mark.koran@senate.mn; or by phone at 651-296-5419.
Sen. Koran is the Republican Lead on the Elections Committee, and serves as a member of the State and Local Government and Veterans Committee.
