A note from Senator Andrew Lang

It is an honor to represent Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Renville, and Swift counties in the Minnesota State Senate!

We just wrapped up the 2019 legislative session and the result is good news for our region. We came together, across party lines, to pass a responsible state budget that includes critical funding for the programs and services on which Minnesotans rely – and we did it in a true compromise that meets the needs of our state. In addition to passing historic education funding and the first middle class income tax cut in nearly two decades, we also passed billions in funding for roads and bridges, landmark elder care protections, and more – all without raising your taxes.

As always, please keep in touch. My office is always open!
