ST. PAUL, Minn.– On a party-line vote, Senate Democrats chose to end the Senate’s power-sharing agreement on Monday.
Republican Senator Andrew Lang (Olivia) today released the following statement:
“I’m disappointed to see Democrats vote to end bipartisan work in the Senate. Our chamber found great success working across the aisle to better represent every Minnesotan, and I’m afraid we are witnessing a return to a highly partisan agenda that leaves half of our state without a voice. In the absence of the power-sharing agreement, we must prioritize bipartisanship to best serve Minnesotans and put them first.”
