Residents of Senate District 17 are invited to attend the town hall meetings hosted by Sen. Andrew Lang (R-Olivia) and Rep. Dave Baker (R-Willmar) on Saturday, April 22.

The meetings are open to the public and will take place in Willmar and Spicer. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions or share comments, as well as hear an update from Sen. Lang and Rep. Baker on various legislative issues such as the state budget, the environment, and transportation funding.

The schedule is as follows:

• 9:00am–10:30am: The Goodness Coffee House (333 Litchfield Ave SW, Willmar, MN)
• 1:00pm: Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center (12718 10th St NE, Spicer, MN)*

*U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) will also be in attendance.

Sen. Lang is serving his first term representing Senate District 17, which includes communities in Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Renville, and Swift counties in west central Minnesota.
