On Friday, thousands of Minnesotans gathered virtually to support the annual March for Life. On January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions legalized abortion on demand nationwide. Each year, pro-life Minnesotans mark the anniversary by gathering at the Capitol in St. Paul.
Majority Leader Paul Gazelka (R-Nisswa) issued the following statement:
“We all have value, we all have dignity, we all are worth fighting for. As we remember the 48th anniversary of the Court’s decision and the millions of lives lost to abortion, I remain committed to my views that we must diligently protect life from conception until natural death.” “It is a privilege to stand alongside Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life and all others who are fighting to protect the lives of the unborn.”
