Statement from Senator Eric Pratt (R-Prior Lake) on the United States Supreme Court decision on the Dobbs case:

“Today the Supreme Court made a significant ruling that strikes down the over-reaching terms of Roe v. Wade, and affirms the value and life of children everywhere. In short, this decision sends the issue back to the states. Minnesota finds itself in a unique position, as the state’s supreme court has previously ruled that abortion is still protected under our state’s case law. That means the Legislature must continue building and implementing common sense policies that protect life at all stages, while supporting women, children, and families. I am committed to the important ongoing work of protecting children and supporting mothers and families that choose life.”
