Dear Friends, I hope you are healthy and at home.
Today Governor Walz signed Emergency Executive Order 20-20, directing Minnesotans to Stay at Home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These are difficult, challenging, and uncertain times. I would just encourage everyone to hang on through all this chaos and confusion, because this will be behind us soon. We have seen other nations get the virus under control, and there is hopeful news for an effective treatment.
We will move forward. God Bless.
If you have questions about the order, the governor’s office has a link to a FAQ sheet.
MN SENATE
We are working as quickly and effectively as possible, while balancing public health risks of both legislators and the public.
The MN Senate will be in session tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th, with an “anything but regular” process of debate and floor votes. We are in unchartered territory with COVID-19 and it affects how we do everything, including a senate floor session.
My office is open to you and I am happy to visit on the phone. You can reach me by phone (651.296.1253) or email.
