Sen. Jerry Relph (R-St. Cloud) released the following statement on the passing of Dan Coborn:

“Central Minnesota, and our entire state, is better off because of people like Dan Coborn. A giant in the greater St. Cloud community, Dan embodied what it means to be a leader. In addition to his enormous success as a businessman, the personal and financial investments of Dan – and the Coborn family – highlighted his commitment to making our area a better place. He was instrumental in bringing about tremendously valuable community resources such as the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota, the Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota, and the United Way of Central Minnesota; the list goes on and on. His legacy as a man of character, philanthropy, and leadership is cemented in our community forever. Dan’s wife, Mabel, his five children, and the rest of the Coborn family have my sincerest prayers and deepest condolences during this difficult time.”
