The Senate Capital Investment Committee’s bonding tour made a stop in Red Wing on Thursday to visit Minnesota State College Southeast. The committee heard presentations on asset preservation, Old West Main Street Reconstruction, the Mississippi Blufflands State Trail, and the Bay Point Renewal.
The committee has travelled the state this year to visit projects that have been submitted for their review. Next session, they will select the critical need projects that most urgently require funding. This stop was a great opportunity to share the community’s requests.
“I am proud of the hard work local advocates and city officials have invested in creating plans to develop our communities,” said Senator Goggin. “We take pride in preserving everything that makes our community a place that families enjoy.”
