Senate Republicans today announced the addition of four Assistant Leaders heading into the 2019 legislative session.

Senator Michelle Benson (R-Ham Lake) and Senator Gary Dahms (R-Redwood Falls) will continue their tenure as Assistant Leaders, having served in the previous biennium. Senator Karin Housley (R-St. Mary’s Point) and Senator John Jasinski (R- Faribault) are new additions to the leadership team.

Sen. Benson is the Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, Sen. Dahms is the Chair of the Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy Committee, Sen. Housley is the Chair of the Aging and Long-Term Care Policy Committee, and Sen. Jasinski is the Vice Chair of the Senate Transportation Finance and Policy Committee in his first term in the Senate.
