Senator Coleman elected assistant Senate Republican Leader

Minnesota State Senator Julia Coleman (R-Waconia) will once again serve on the Senate Republican leadership team after her colleagues elected her to serve as an assistant minority leader for the upcoming 2025-2026 legislative session. Senator Mark Johnson (East Grand Forks) will continue his role as Senate Minority Leader.

“It’s an honor to be elected by my colleagues to lead our caucus in the upcoming legislative session” Senator Coleman said. “Minnesotans are eager for real results that help them afford their daily lives, provide quality education to their children, and ensure safe communities. I will continue to keep the needs of my constituents at the forefront of decisions at the Capitol.”

Senators Julia Coleman (Waconia), Gary Dahms (Redwood Falls), Karin Housley (Stillwater), John Jasinski (Faribault), and Michael Kreun (Blaine), and Jordan Rasmusson (Fergus Falls) will work together as the Senate Republican leadership team for the 2025-2026 biennium.
