Minnesota State Senator Steve Drazkowski (R-Mazeppa) released the following statement today in response to Governor Tim Walz’s budget proposal: 

“Don’t be fooled by Gov. Walz and the Democrats pretending to be fiscally responsible. For two years, they had full control of government and were reckless and irresponsible with your tax dollars. They blew through an entire $19 billion surplus and raised $10 billion in taxes, and now the governor wants to cover the budget mess he and the Democrats created with higher taxes and massive fees.”
