Senate Republicans recently selected their Leadership team to serve during the upcoming 2023 Legislative Session. Senator Zach Duckworth (R-Lakeville) was appointed to the team and released the following statement: 

“I am honored to once again be part of the leadership team. Though our role will look a bit different in the upcoming session, I am looking forward to representing my district and all of Minnesota as we work toward common goals that make our state a better place to live. 

I plan to continue the important bipartisan work of representing the interests of Minnesota families by advocating for the elimination of the tax on social security, allowing Minnesotans to keep more of their hard-earned income so that they can provide for their loved ones, providing our kids the resources they need to recover and succeed in the classroom, and supporting public safety in our communities. Together, we will continue to work toward a better Minnesota for future generations to come.”
