Minnesota Senate Republicans unveiled their complete 2018 Advancing Minnesota agenda on Monday. The series of priorities emphasizes protecting Minnesotans’ wages and caring for people by holding government accountable for the ongoing DMV mess, improving school safety, funding mental health, and investing in state infrastructure.
Senator Justin Eichorn (R-Grand Rapids) released the following statement:
“Senate Republicans have a simple goal this year – continue to work to improve the lives of Minnesotans and their families. Last session, Senate Republicans delivered on their promise to advance Minnesota passing emergency health care premium relief, significant tax reform, and long-term funding for roads and bridges. This year, Republicans will deliver more of the same, with additional tax reform through conformity of our now outdated tax system, expanded infrastructure investments to make our schools safer and to provide for our veterans, and expanded government accountability by getting to the bottom of MNLARS and our elder abuse crisis.”
