Today the Minnesota Senate, under Democrat leadership, approved a bill that will allow non-citizens the right to a driver’s license with no protections for our elections or national security.  

Senator Justin Eichorn (R-Grand Rapids) issued the following statement:

“The driver’s licenses for noncitizens bill is a complete mess. It’s not just about public safety – it has serious flaws that put our national security and our elections at risk. I wish we could have fixed this bill to make it a little safer for Minnesotans, but Democrats rejected every one of our improvements.”
